Today's Inspiration: Living Out Loud

I'll never forget the day that I realized that our "one" and only "big job" in life is to live our lives "fully" as ourselves and no one else...  For nothing in life is as stressful and exhausting as trying to be someone different than who you really are.  ~Chana

When you discover and connect with what you are most gifted and talented to do... pay less attention to everything else. "FOCUS"...  It's the hidden ingredient... ~Chana

When opportunities come your way, you have to take the shot and SLAM it in! :)  For everything else in comparison is just practice and preparation for this moment.... Look at that " facial "...     ~Chana

I've been wondering... what would happen if we all lived on purpose...?  If we all got together, and I mean " really " got together, and started building each other up and helping one another with the gifts that we have... I bet that thing that God put inside of you and me would bring forth something so amazing...  Just a thought... ~Chana  

In today's message, I want to share with you a song and video by this guy name Andy Mineo.  The song is called "In My City", and the message is taken from Matthew 5:13-16.   In this scripture, Jesus is teaching his disciples about their value, and how they are "the salt and light of the world"...   He said: "You are the salt of the earth... But what good is salt if it loses its flavor..? You are (also) the light of the world... and a city on a hill  that cannot be hidden... For no one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket ... Bu t instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house.  So let your light and good deeds shine for all to see, so that everyone will praise and glorify your Father who is in heaven".   In applying this to us today, if you are a follower of Christ, understand that you've been given much seasoning and light to add God's...

If I did this correctly, there should be a video here for you to watch today... :) It's one of my favorite songs by this guy name Travis Greene called "Living Water". I believe the message behind the song is taken from Jeremiah 2:12-13 ... which says: " Be appalled, O heavens, at this... be shocked and utterly desolate, declares the LORD... for my people have committed two evils... they have forsaken me , the fountain of living waters.. and have hewed out cisterns for themselves... (broken cisterns) that can hold no water..." When I reflect on this today, I can see how we still do the same thing... I personally can relate to abandoning God during different times in my life and digging out for myself some type of cistern (a broken cistern at that...)  that I try to use to hold water to quench my thirsts - which never worked (btw) This song is a great reminder that "living water" ...
