Like The Birds
Getting to the things that we want in life can seem like a pipedream when we ignore the elementary truths like Faith and Trust... As we often get to one thing and quickly begin to worry about the next... Oftentimes, when we get to what's next, we quickly go off and worry about something else... Today I am reminded of this scripture... i n Matthew 6, where Jesus tells us not to worry about what we will eat, where we will sleep, or what we will even wear... because "life" is more than "things".. . And He reminds us to look at the everyday things like the birds...and how God takes care of them... and to "see" how they don't even plant or harvest, or store food... a nd God "always" ensures that they are taken care of and eat... And He does the same (and even MORE) for you and me.. So the next time that you find yourself worrying about "things", remember these birds ... and reaffirm your trust and faith in God and not in m
