In A Field of Dreams

At the end of the year, I find myself entering a new territory, dreaming again... And very quickly, I am reminded of that movie "In A Field of Dreams", where the whispering voice said “If you built it, he will come"...

What are our dreams, really, but objectives, aspirations, plans, hopes, wishes and ideas...  And how many of us have actually started building on any of these things? 

I always remember that the journeys we take "by ourselves" are not just "for" ourselves but also for others, which encourages me to continue building.

Never Ending Relationships

... One person asked me if she should " stay friends " with someone after  the relationship was over ... and I couldn't help but wonder how she could split up the two... as my experiences of relationships have taught me how, although the circumstances in our relationships change, the reality of us having a relationship with another person  does not .. . For we may no longer be within the same frame of that picture together, but the "content" of it is what always lingers and remain. . I can personally attest to my relationships living and continuing to live in some of the most intimate parts of my thoughts, memories, heart and sometimes other relationships... long after I've parted ways with people... So it becomes very important to me to internally and eternally stay friends ... because I know relationships never really ends...

Running To Win

In all of the things that we hope for and pursue, I 1st Cor 9:25 reminds me to be sure that I am running my race to win.  For athletes go into strict training and go through a lot of trouble for a crown... ribbon... or a silver cup that will not last ... But us "born again" folks do it for a heavenly reward that never  disappears.. Let us keep on loving and serving one another in the places we are called to be - in our homes, jobs and everything else outside of that... and be "purposeful" in every step while doing it as we head towards the finish line.
