Cracking The Ice and Jumping In


Today I hear this message repeating itself..
Of course the message is for me, but I deeply believe in using my life to help someone else.
 
So yes... the message... it keeps repeating... and I'm listening...
I've been listening for the longest days that have turned into years... But not so close that I cannot hear clearly... But close enough just to simply hear a clear sound that echoes in the distance of what my life is... For like a moving river, flowing beneath a thin sheet of ice, the life that is me is waiting...
It's waiting for me to crack open, grab hold, to catch on and to jump in....
 
For I know that it is only when I jump in, that I will get to reach the end of where it wants to lead me.  Wish me luck. :)

One person asked me if she should " stay friends " with someone after  the relationship was over ... and I couldn't help but wonder how she could split up the two... as my experiences of relationships have taught me how, although the circumstances in our relationships change, the reality of us having a relationship with another person  does not .. . For we may no longer be within the same frame of that picture together, but the "content" of it is what always lingers and remain. . I can personally attest to my relationships living and continuing to live in some of the most intimate parts of my thoughts, memories, heart and sometimes other relationships... long after I've parted ways with people... Running To Win

In all of the things that we hope for and pursue, I 1st Cor 9:25 reminds me to be sure that I am running my race to win.  For athletes go into strict training and go through a lot of trouble for a crown... ribbon... or a silver cup that will not last ... But us "born again" folks do it for a heavenly reward that never  disappears.. Let us keep on loving and serving one another in the places we are called to be - in our homes, jobs and everything else outside of that... and be "purposeful" in every step while doing it as we head towards the finish line.
